After I finished the work of the epidemic investigation of the school in the
late of Autumn 1994. I asked Dr.Grayston GT(School of Public Health and
Community Medicine, University of Washington, Seattle) who is a pioneer
of Chlamydia penumoniae infection, which conference is suitable to present.
His advice was that Interscience Conference on Antimicrobiral Agents and
Chemotherapy is a choice.
From June to July 1994, the epidemic of chlamydia pneumoniae infectin was
occurred at Mito junior high school and just happened in August 1994, Dr.
Grayston published the review of C. pneuminiae infection in the Pediatric
In September 1995, I and Dr. Ouchi went to San Francisco. ICAAC meeting
at Moscone Center was very interesting for me, because the meeting joined
the researchers of other area, such as virus, bacteria, fungus, antibiotics, food,
drug company, animal doctors, public officer, and CDC. I also met Dr.
Grayston, who gave me a good advice.
